Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has commiserated with  Nigeria Union of Journalists , Ebonyi State Council over the death of their former State Secretary,  Dr. Kingsley Nworie. The Governor described the former  NUJ Secretary and Deputy Director of News and Current Affairs with Ebonyi State Broadcasting Corporation as a tragic loss not only to the media industry but to the entire State. The Governor also styled late Kingsley as a seasoned journalist who discharged his duties with passion , committment and professionalism  and made contributions to the development of the pen profession. Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has reassured his administration's preparedness to revamp the education sector of the State. Governor Nwifuru made the commitment while addressing family members during a civic reception organized in his honour by his Alegu Eze extended family, Sunday. Francis Ogbonna  Nwifuru has sworn-in the two appointed Senior Special Assistants and nineteen Special Assistants recently appointed by his administration. Out of the 21 sworn-in appointees, only about 6 were given portfolios in other function areas such as media, documentation, education and health.
