CHIEF OGBONNA NWIFURU AS THE YOUNGEST GOVERNOR IN NIGERIA, -expectations

When we say that chief Ogbonna Nwifuru,the 4th executive governor of Ebonyi state has broken the jinx  to become the youngest governor in Nigeria in this political despensation,it sounds almost unbelievable to some people,but,it is true,going by his date of birth.
  Aside,governor Nwifuru's body physique and physiology without doubt,dispel any bias mind  about his youthful age.
   Out of the twenty eight(28)new governors sworn in,on 29th May,2023 and by extension the 36 governors of the federation,the youthful age of Nwifuru is quite outstanding and of course,action pact.
   Governor David Umahi had before the emergence of Nwifuru as the anointed APC gubernatoral  candidate,promised Ebonyians to hand over the leadership of the state to the youth,and this he did without apologies to any body. 
  For sure,Governor Ogbonna Nwifuru as a youth has been tested and trusted in political leadership,having contributed immensely to the growth and development of the state.
   As a two term speaker of the most peaceful house of Assembly in the country,governor Ogbonna Nwifuru,had already become well acquainted with the full knowledge and wisdom to manage both material and human resources.
 A man of great integrity,chief Ogbonna Nwifuru strongly believe in the welfare of the people. He also believe in infrastructural development of the state,hence,the rolling out of people oriented bills from the  Ebonyi state house of Assembly which,hitherto,brought rapid development to the state.
  Nwifuru as a youth,full of energy, vitality,intellectual prowess,great passion for people has vowed to put Ebonyi state in the world map,as one of the fastest developing economy in the country.
  Nwifuru is a complete gentleman,soft minded,outspoken,humble,very intelligent and courageous,who dreams big for Ebonyi state.
   No wonder,his upliftment as the governor of the state has been seen as an act of God.
  Therefore as a youth entrusted with power to lead as governor,it is not out of place to expect changes against the old order of doing things. 
   For instance,the  recycling of
 old breed politicians who see political positions as their birth right,thereby,refusing the young ones or flesh blood to be injected into the system,should be played down by governor Nwifuru's administration.
  Some of these old breeds no doubt have exhausted their usefulness as they have learnt the art of self aggradisement and deciet,devoid of quality representations.
   As political position has become another means of empowermen,fresh minds should take the lead as to discover leadership talents. 
  Therefore,it is highly expected that,the composition of the new state executive council(EXCO)by governor Nwifuru,will witness two third of fresh members,so as to groom new leaders for tomorrow.
 Any society that does not move with the dynasim of time to harvest new talents of leaders in democratic order is bound to be stunted and retrogressive.

EKA-AWOKE COMMUNITY QUALIFIES FOR WORLD BANK ASSISTED PROJECTS

By Ewa Nworie Eka-Awoke community in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state was among the 54 communities qualified for CSDA support under the NG-CARES programme,a world Bank Assisted project.    Members of the CSDA committee from Eka-Awoke,elected to carry out the implementation of their community project,joined colleagues from other communities to receive intensive training on how to handle the projects. The training which took place at Re-maretona hotel Andsuite,Abakaliki,was meant to empower the committees of benefiting communities with the prerequisite knowledge on how to carry out the world Bank Assited projects in their various communities in line with the world Bank approved standard The training which was seen as quite impactful and result oriented,as members of the committees were seen answering questions correctly from the resource persons,kept the committees abreast of what they should know about the management of Agency's fund.

NDUFU IKWO DC COORDINATOR,DR.EJEM CHARGES NEW MGT CTTEE MEMBERS TO WORK HARD

The coordinator of Ndufu Ikwo Development centre,Dr Ernest Ndidi Ejem has called on the newly appointed management committee members to work very hard to justify the appointments given to them by governor Ogbonna Nwifuru.  The coordinator gave the charge during his maiden meeting with the management committee members of Ndufu Ikwo Development centre,held at Egunkwo,the headquarters of the development centre.   Addressing the management committee members,the coordinator, Dr.Ejem who took time out to enumerate projects executed by his administration and how he has been piloting the affairs of the Development centre since assumption of office,told the management committee members,that they were appointed basically to assist coordinators in the effective running of development centres to step down governance to the rural people,and urged the management committee members to owe gratitudes to governor Ogbonna Nwifuru who  gave them the opportunity to serve.  The coordinator furth
