Ebonyi APC Reps candidate risks Expulsion from the Party, over crises in Edda,Afikpo south LGA

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, says he is considering the request by the state working committee of the All Progressives Congressio,APC, to sack one of its House Representatives candidates, Eni Uduma Chima from the party.
This followed the killings and destruction of valuable properties at Ekoli Edda community in Afikpo South Local Government Area of the state.
The state leadership of the Party,APC,had petitioned Eni Uduma Chima, contesting the Afikpo South/Afikpo North federal constituency seat, to governor David Umahi, demanding his sack, from the party for allegedly sponsoring crisis in the area.
The APC state working committee, also demanded that all the coordinators of development centre’s in Afikpo South LGA and other persons, loyal to Eni Uduma Chima should be suspended as a way to bring calm and peace in Ekoli Edda community.
Recall that, three youths, including a police Inspector were killed and house of the state APC chairman,Stanley Okoro Emegha and other valuable properties worth millions of naria were set ablaze by mobs, over power tussle that existed between Eni Uduma and Okoro Emegha in the area.
Umahi, who addressed the state APC leadership and other stakeholders of the state during a Christmas homage that took place at his hometown,Umunnaga Uburu in Ohaozara LGA, said the party will soon take decision on sacking of APC candidate that is not loyal to the party leadership.
According to Umahi: “I’m looking at this request critically. For the total expulsion of Eni Uduma Chima from the party. I’m considering it very seriously, and other APC candidates that are not loyal to the party. We are looking at it very seriously.
“Before the flag off of our campaigns, we will meet and finally look at it. It is a shame that I begged the party chairman, Emegha, to allow Eni to fly the flag of APC. It is the prerogative of the chairman to make contributions, but I begged him (Emegha) and he respected me and allowed him (Eni) to fly the ticket of the party. That man has never respected the party chairman, no problem we shall see,” he stated.
