IKWO COUNCIL BOSS INAUGURATES MGT COMMITTEE WITH A CHARGE TO ASSIST CO ORDINATORS DEVELOP RURAL COMMUNITIES

           Barr. Sunday Nwankwo The chairman of Ikwo local government area, Bar. EKA-AWOKE COMMUNITY,TO INSTALL SOLAR LIGHTS AND CCTV CAMERA

                Dr Collins Irem By Ewa Nworie  The people of Eka-Awoke autonomous community in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state will soon enjoy Solar lights and CCTV camera mounted at strategic positions within the five villages that make up Eka-Awoke community.     This cheering news came from the new national president of Eka-Awoke community Development Union(ECDU),Dr.Collins Irem during their median meeting with stakeholders of Eka-Awoke,held at community primary school,Onuafiukwa.     Presenting the blueprints of the new Executives to the stakeholders,the national President, Dr Collins Irem, said, the good  development came as a result of familiarisation tour his executives embarked upon during the yelutide,which an inlaw to the community,chief Asaga Nwali,gave the community N500,000 and promised to further assist the community in building a befiting town hall.   Irem said,the familiarisation tour which also took them to all the five villages that made up Eka-

EKA-AWOKE AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY,NOW HAVE A WORKING CONSTITUTION TO DRIVE HOME,DEVELOPMENT

By Ewa Nworie Constitution to run the affairs of Eka- Awoke autonomous community,in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state,has been adopted by the people of the community.    The event which took place at community primary school,Onuafiukwa.Eka-Awoke,attracted large turn out of people from the five villages that make up the communuty.  The chairman of the constitution drafting committee,Dr.Irem Collins who handed over the copies of the constitution to Eka-Awoke through the councillor,representing Eka-Awoke Ward,Hon.Clifford Igboji,thanked the people of Eka-Awoke for giving them the chance to serve.
