GOV. NWIFURU ON THE RIGHT TRACK OF QUALITY LEADERSHIP TO ENONYI PEOPLE

If what we are seeing in Ebonyi state,today is anything to go by,it is quite correct to say that Ebonyi state is on the right track of quality leadership. 
   The governor of Ebonyi state, Rt. Hon. Ogbonna NWIFURU,has re iterated his full resolve to  deliver quality leadership to the people of Ebonyi state.
   With the inauguration of new  EXCO members few days ago and the proclamation of 7th Assembly,with new speaker,Rt.Hon.Moses Ije Odunwa,all machineries of government are now on course to drive the policies and programmes of the state government. 
   Governor NWIFURU during his median state executive council meeting held at the EXCO  chambers,new government house,Abakaliki,few days ago had charged the new exco members to work very hard to justify the trust reposed on them,as he will not spare any EXCO member that fall short of expectations. 
   He made it crystal clear that their selections were not political patronage,but,a call to duty to ensure the development of the state.
 True to this charge,the new commissioners who were mostly youths and fresh breed politicians within 48hours,assumed duties in their respective assigned ministries,with charge on their staff to brace up to meet government targets of ensuring both human and infrastructural developments.
   Of a truth,Governor Ogbonna NWIFURU has started well by showing high level of commitments and passion to realise the set objective of his administration in line with his manifesto of  charter of needs.
   He has made good his promise by appointing professionals into his government to drive government policies and programmes.
   However,the new commissioners while addressing staff of their various ministries, charged them to work hard to actualise government set objective of developing the state.
  Some of the commissioners while addressing their staff,promised to introduce reward system for outstanding civil servants,while those that exhibit poor attitudes to work will be sanctioned.
   The commissioner for Information and state Orientation,Engr.Jude Okpor,who was emphatic on the charge,directed the staff of his ministry to put in their best as there will be no excuse for indolence and poor performance.
     It is a thing of joy that governor Ogbonna Nwifuru has vowed to revitalize education and health sectors in the state which has since gone into comatose.
  According to governor Nwifuru,"Ebonyi state university,college of education Ikwo,all will receive prompt and special attention,while public schools in the state,both primary and secondary,will also be given adequate attention.
   On the health sector,governor Nwifuru assured Ebonyi people on the preparedness of his administration to declare state of emergency,and in marching words with action,ordered the recruitment of medical doctors,pharmacists,nurses and health attendants to meet the manpower needs of the sector.
  In addition to these noble actions,governor Nwifuru had announced plans by his adminstration to reclaim the Ebonyi state teaching hospital to enable medical students of the state university carry out their medical studies.
   The truth is that governor Ogbonna Nwifuru is an outstanding leader and have started well,since his assumption of office.
 Therefore, all hands must be on deck to support the administration of governor NWIFURU to take Ebonyi state to greater height.

EKA-AWOKE COMMUNITY QUALIFIES FOR WORLD BANK ASSISTED PROJECTS

By Ewa Nworie Eka-Awoke community in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state was among the 54 communities qualified for CSDA support under the NG-CARES programme,a world Bank Assisted project.    Members of the CSDA committee from Eka-Awoke,elected to carry out the implementation of their community project,joined colleagues from other communities to receive intensive training on how to handle the projects. The training which took place at Re-maretona hotel Andsuite,Abakaliki,was meant to empower the committees of benefiting communities with the prerequisite knowledge on how to carry out the world Bank Assited projects in their various communities in line with the world Bank approved standard The training which was seen as quite impactful and result oriented,as members of the committees were seen answering questions correctly from the resource persons,kept the committees abreast of what they should know about the management of Agency's fund.

NDUFU IKWO DC COORDINATOR,DR.EJEM CHARGES NEW MGT CTTEE MEMBERS TO WORK HARD
