2023: OVER 100 PDP MEMBERS DECAMP TO APC IN EKA-AWOKE COMMUNITY,IKWO -- as people declares supports to chief Ogbonna Nwifuru,Ebonyi APC guber candidate

Over one hundred PDP members in Eka-Awoke autonomous community,in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state,has defected to All Progressive Congress(APC).
   The defection came during the APC stakeholders meeting held at Egunkwo,Eka-Awoke,autonomous community,which was fully attended.
    The APC ward chairman,chief Steven Igwe while commending the decampees for their wise decision, assured that equal treatment of members would be accorded to them,provided they work assidiously to deliver all the APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
  

 Two of the decampees who spoke on behalf of others,Emeka Nwakpu,former councilor of Eka-Awoke ward and Ibeabuchi Opeke, said,they took the decision,as a mark of honour to their inlaw,chief OGBONNA Nwifuru,whose brother,chief Fidelis Nwifuru married from the community. 
   They assured stakeholders,that they would do everything possible to deliver chief Ogbonna Nwifuru and other APC candidates during the general 2023 general elections.
   Earlier,the ward APC chairman,chief Steven Igwe,had told the stakeholders that the meeting was to re - strategise in a bid to strengthen the Party at the ward level,ahead of the state APC and local government campaigns that would take off in few days coming.
   He described chief Ogbonna Nwifuru as their good inlaw who will not fail the community. 
 

The APC chairman,charged the stakeholders to work towards total actualisation of the Party's electoral  victory,stressing that the community would stand a better chance to benefit,if Nwifuru becomes the next governor of Ebonyi state.
   Chief Igweh Lawrence  Aloh,the father in- law to Nwifuru,explained that he had earlier had a similar meeting with the five village chairmen that make up Eka-Awoke autonomous community,and called  for the unity of purpose among Party members to ensure total victory for the Party.  
  The former chairman,Ikwo local government area,chief Daniel Ogiji,in his own remark,assured the people of Eka Awoke that,their interest in the ongoing human empowerment by government,was fully protected as money for the empowerment would soon be released. He urged the Party members to work hard to deliver the gubernatotial candidate,chief Ogbonna Nwifuru,and other candidates of the Party.
 

 Chief Ogiji while assuring total victory for APC in the forthcoming general elections,called on the ward executives to step down APC campaign council to the five villages that make up Eka-Awoke,so as to make the campaign all inclusive.
   Others who spoke,include,Prof.Joseph Afiukwa,member,National APC campaign council,the Councilor,representing Eka Awoke ward,Hon Clifford Igboji who sponsored the stakeholders meeting,and a representative of women among others.
   They all assured that,Eka-Awoke ward will ensure total victory to all the APC candidates,starting from chief Ogbonna Nwifuru to member representing Ikwo/Ezza federal constituency,comrade Chinedu Oga alongside other candidates.
   Also in attendance,was the former deputy accountant general of the state,chief Cyprain Okiri.
