EBONYI; GOV.OGBONNA NWIFURU DISBURSES 10 MILLION NAIRA EACH,TO 31 COMMUNITIES

Governor Ogbonna Nwifuru is all rounder in offering quality service to the people of Ebonyi state.
   Today,26th October, 2023,His Excellency,the governor,flagged of the disbursement of 10 million Naira each to 31 communities in the state.
  This is to enable the communities undertake any project of their choice,through Ebonyi state community and Social Development Agency,a World Bank Assisted Project.
Governor Ogbonna Nwifuru while addressing the benefitting communities,charged the handlers of the community fund to be most prudent in the management of the resources to ensure effective implementation of the community projects,assuring that his administration is totally poised to develope rural communities in the state.
The Coordinator of the Ebonyi state Community and Social Development Agency,Mr James Iroh,applauded governor Ogbonna Nwifuru for his people oriented administration which has brought rural communities in the state under focus,assuring that, his Agency will not fail in executing the prefered projects of the various  communities.
He thanked governor Ogbonna Nwifuru for paying the state counterpart fund to the Agency.
    Earlier,the commissioner for Human capital development,chief Mrs Ann Aligwe,had eulogized governor Ogbonna Nwifuru,for rewriting the history of Ebonyi state through human empowerment and infrastructural developments,in line with the 'People's Charter of Needs" of the administration. 
   She called on the people of Ebonyi state to continue to appreciate governor Ogbonna Nwifuru,for his people oriented administration.
 Thirty one(31) autonomous communities were issued cheques of Ten million Naira each.

EKA-AWOKE COMMUNITY QUALIFIES FOR WORLD BANK ASSISTED PROJECTS

By Ewa Nworie Eka-Awoke community in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state was among the 54 communities qualified for CSDA support under the NG-CARES programme,a world Bank Assisted project.    Members of the CSDA committee from Eka-Awoke,elected to carry out the implementation of their community project,joined colleagues from other communities to receive intensive training on how to handle the projects. The training which took place at Re-maretona hotel Andsuite,Abakaliki,was meant to empower the committees of benefiting communities with the prerequisite knowledge on how to carry out the world Bank Assited projects in their various communities in line with the world Bank approved standard The training which was seen as quite impactful and result oriented,as members of the committees were seen answering questions correctly from the resource persons,kept the committees abreast of what they should know about the management of Agency's fund.

NDUFU IKWO DC COORDINATOR,DR.EJEM CHARGES NEW MGT CTTEE MEMBERS TO WORK HARD
