GOV. NWIFURU 'S POLICY OF CONSOLIDATION AND CONTINUITY,YIELDING POSITIVE RESULTS,VIA,CHUBA OKADIGBO INTL AIRPORT

When we acknowledge governor Ogbonna Nwifuru's penchant for good governance in Ebonyi state,having been very much committed to the course of puting the state on the high ladder of human and infrastructural  developments,among committee of states in Nigeria,some people would quickly misconstrue this position as act of praise singing.
     Tell me why any patriotic  individual or groups should  not speak the truth to shame the devil,by appreciating the fact that,the history of Ebonyi state is being re written by the impressive performance of governor Ogbonna NWIFURU's led government. 
  The monumental achievements recorded within a short period of time has clearly proved that governor Ogbonna Nwifuru is indeed,a gift from God. 
  Imagine the Ebonyi new International airport Onueke,otherwise,known as Chuba Okadigbo International airport,which has since been commissioned and put into use by the past administration after gulping over N36 billion naira,still got the attention of the people's governor,Rt.Hon.builder Ogbonna Nwifuru,who recently awarded a contract of N13 billion naira,to give the International airport-runways,a facelift. 
The airport runway which was declared faulty by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria(FAAN),with complaint of damages caused on aircrafts during landing by the rigidity of concrete overlay,is at present,in the spirit of consolidation and continuity in governanced,receiving full attention,by Rt.Hon.builder Ogbonna Nwifuru.  
    The full implementation of Nwifuru's people oriented manifesto,titled,"People's Charter of Needs,Divine mandate Consolidation and Continuity,is quite on course.
   However,to critical mind,the fault on the airport runway would have been dictated earlier before the commissioning and commencement of flight operations by the past administration.  
   This,in no doubt,would have saved the state,the N13 billion Naira,now being sunk on the already completed airport project,the money which would have been tailored to other priority projects begging for attention.
  The question is,should the fault on the runway,be as a result of shady job on the side of the contractors that handled the projects?. Why did the immediate past government,allow such shady contractors to go scot free with the state fund? 
Anyway,that would be a story for another day,as governor Ogbonna Nwifuru,an esteemed quintessential leader of our time, has done the needful,by re- awarding the contract to the tune of N13 billion Naira,to a reputable construction firm,IDC company,which was among the companies that bidded for the project.
  However,the commissioner for Aviation and technology in the state,Dr.Ngozi Obichukwu,who has been doing a perfect job in the supervision of the airport,has re- assured Ebonyi people and the general public,not to worry as work on the airport runway will soon be completed for the full commencement of flights operations.
    It will be recalled that governor Ogbonna Nwifuru,had earlier cleared the five months arrears of salaries owed to workers of the Chuba Okadigbo's International airport,Onueke.
  Therefore,Governor Ogbonna Nwifuru,the people's governor  should be highly commended for faithful implementation of his government policy of consolidation and continuity in governance,by promptly embarking on the reconstruction of the faulty airport runways to make progress.

EKA-AWOKE COMMUNITY QUALIFIES FOR WORLD BANK ASSISTED PROJECTS

By Ewa Nworie Eka-Awoke community in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state was among the 54 communities qualified for CSDA support under the NG-CARES programme,a world Bank Assisted project.    Members of the CSDA committee from Eka-Awoke,elected to carry out the implementation of their community project,joined colleagues from other communities to receive intensive training on how to handle the projects. The training which took place at Re-maretona hotel Andsuite,Abakaliki,was meant to empower the committees of benefiting communities with the prerequisite knowledge on how to carry out the world Bank Assited projects in their various communities in line with the world Bank approved standard The training which was seen as quite impactful and result oriented,as members of the committees were seen answering questions correctly from the resource persons,kept the committees abreast of what they should know about the management of Agency's fund.

NDUFU IKWO DC COORDINATOR,DR.EJEM CHARGES NEW MGT CTTEE MEMBERS TO WORK HARD
