GOV. NWIFURU'S GOOD BEGINNING,AS A TOAST FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE

When I remember the wisdom,intellectual prowess of governor Ogbonna Nwifuru in piloting the affairs of the state,I become highly elated and happy that Ebonyi people has made the right choice.
  It is highly commendable that governor Ogbonna Nwifuru through his people oriented adminstration,anchored on,"The People's Charter of Needs",has within the shortest possible time, rewritten the history of Ebonyi state, thereby,silencing the opposition elements and critics who were out during the 2023 general elections with all manners of dangerous rumous and unhealthy political campaigns to malign the God's given leader,Rt.Hon.Ogbonna Nwifuru.
   For sure,the outcome of the 2023 general elections,fully disappointed the critics and oppositions as Nwifuru polled the highest number of votes cast across the 13 local government areas of the state,and was dully declared winner of the 2023 Ebonyi guber race by the Independent National Electorial Commission(INEC). 
   Yes,the electoral umpire actually spoke the truth because,Ebonyi people came out in their large numbers to vote for their preferred candidate,Rt. Hon.Ogbonna Nwifuru,of All Progressive Congress(APC).
  The myriad of achievements recorded in the state by governor Ogbonna Nwifuru,within his hundred days in office,has actually  proved to Ebonyians that they did not make mistake. 
  They incude,the appointment of youths and professionals as commissioners,SSAs,SAs,the recruitment of over 195 health personnel,including 39 medical doctors and 39 Nurses to provide adequate health care delivery service to the people,the recruitment of over 1,454 workers into the state civil service,the restoration of peace in the warring communities in some part of the state,the construction of rural roads across the 13 local government areas of the state,work has since commenced,Increasing workers salary by N10,000 each to cushion the effect of subsidy removal,the empowerment of youths to the tune of two million Naira each hawking in some major cities across the country,like,Lagos,Onitsha,Port hacourt,Aba. The flagged off is billed to take place soon.
    On security,it is a thing of joy that Ebonyi people can now sleep with their two eyes closed as crime rate in the state have drastically reduced, thereby,making Ebonyi state,the most peaceful and crime free state in Nigeria.
  The truth is that governor Ogbonna Nwifuru has started his administration on a good note,because,God has fully equipped him for the task of leading Ebonyi people to the promise Land.
   For sure,the people of Ebonyi state are happy as clearly expressed by the law makers of Ebonyi state House of Assembly who during their plenary session,shortly before the hundred days in office of governor Ogbonna Nwifuru, passed a resounding vote of confidence on the performing governor of Ebonyi state,Rt.Hon.Ogbonna Nwifuru.

EKA-AWOKE COMMUNITY QUALIFIES FOR WORLD BANK ASSISTED PROJECTS

By Ewa Nworie Eka-Awoke community in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state was among the 54 communities qualified for CSDA support under the NG-CARES programme,a world Bank Assisted project.    Members of the CSDA committee from Eka-Awoke,elected to carry out the implementation of their community project,joined colleagues from other communities to receive intensive training on how to handle the projects. The training which took place at Re-maretona hotel Andsuite,Abakaliki,was meant to empower the committees of benefiting communities with the prerequisite knowledge on how to carry out the world Bank Assited projects in their various communities in line with the world Bank approved standard The training which was seen as quite impactful and result oriented,as members of the committees were seen answering questions correctly from the resource persons,kept the committees abreast of what they should know about the management of Agency's fund.

NDUFU IKWO DC COORDINATOR,DR.EJEM CHARGES NEW MGT CTTEE MEMBERS TO WORK HARD

The coordinator of Ndufu Ikwo Development centre,Dr Ernest Ndidi Ejem has called on the newly appointed management committee members to work very hard to justify the appointments given to them by governor Ogbonna Nwifuru.  The coordinator gave the charge during his maiden meeting with the management committee members of Ndufu Ikwo Development centre,held at Egunkwo,the headquarters of the development centre.   Addressing the management committee members,the coordinator, Dr.Ejem who took time out to enumerate projects executed by his administration and how he has been piloting the affairs of the Development centre since assumption of office,told the management committee members,that they were appointed basically to assist coordinators in the effective running of development centres to step down governance to the rural people,and urged the management committee members to owe gratitudes to governor Ogbonna Nwifuru who  gave them the opportunity to serve.  The coordinator furth
