EBONYI: SA on Ring Road Project,Describes Late Mother as a Phenomenon

Engr.Felix Otta,Special Assistant to the governor on Ring road project in Ebonyi state,has described his late mother,Mrs Mary Otta as a phenomenon,who have impacted positively on the lives of many people in the society.
   Engr.Otta,stated this in an interview with journalists,immediately after the burial of his late mother,Mrs Mary Otta,held at her country home,Olua Enyigba in Abakaliki local local government area.
   Engr.Otta who gave God glory for the life lived by his mother,thanked governor David Umahi for his prayers and support to the family.  
His words,"My mother was a phenomenon,a mother to behold,peaceful woman,selfless person and loving mother.
 "She assisted the community and the down trodden.
   "I thanked God for the life she lived.
"As  a Catholic and a devote  christain,she took the church rituals of Holy communion before she went to meet her maker.
"Although,a great vacuum hard to fill has been created,I take consolation on the legacies she left behind.
  "I thank His Excellency,,the governor of Ebonyi state,Engr.David Umahi for his support and prayers.
  "My thanks also go to the deputy governor,Dr Kelech Igwe,members of the state executive council,security chiefs,the Engineering families,the media, friends and well wishers,who supported the family in one way or the other.
  Also In an interview,the wife of the SA to the governor,Dr.Mrs Nnenna Otta,described her mother inlaw as a good woman who took her as her own daughter.
 "She took me as her daughter,I am very grateful for that. No mother inlaw will do what she did by accepting me the way I am to be her son's wife. We lived happily as a family. I miss her greatly
    Mrs Otta thanked governor David Umahi for attending the burial ceremony together with his deputy,Dr.Kelechi Igwe,describing it as a great honour to the family.
   In his advise to the bereaved family,the commissioner for Special duties,chief Romanus Nwasum,urged them to continue with the legacies,their mother left behind.
  He thanked God that late Mrs Mary Ophoke Otta lived a fulfilled life and died in the Lord.
