Eka-Awoke Community,Ikwo,sings songs of praises for the victory of Nwifuru,Ebonyi Governor-elect

As  the euphoria for the overwhelming victory of APC in Ebonyi state is being consumated by the APC Party members,the people of Eka- Awoke ward in Ikwo local government area, Saturday,25th,March 2023 gathered in their  great numbers at Nwafia Egunkwo to sing songs of praises to God for the victory of chief Ogbonna Nwifuru,as the next governor of Ebonyi state. 
     In their songs of praises,they thanked the Almighty God for answering their prayers for the victory of Nwifuru,whom they described as their beloved in-law. 
    They also thanked God for the victory of all other APC candidates, starting from Bola Tinubu,the president- elect of Nigeria,the member,representing Ikwo/Ezza federal constituency,Comrade Chinedu Ogah,OON,the Senator elect for Ebonyi central, Engr. Ken Eze,and house of Assembly APC candidates who won in their various constituencies.  
Addressing the APC members,the co ordinator,APC campaign council in Eka-Awoke ward,chief Daniel Ogiji,who was full of praises,thanked the people of Eka-Awoke community for making good their promise to deliver chief Ogbonna Nwifuru and other APC candidates through their massive votes,stressing that the victory of Nwifuru is the victory of the entire community and Ikwo in general,especially,in terms of social infrastructure and political appointments
 He informed the people of Eka-Awoke that,a thanksgiving church service will be held in the  five villages that make up Eka-Awoke community to drive home the joy of the victory and charge them to remain committed.
The APC Ward chairman,chief Igwe Steven in his remark,also  lauded the people of Eka-Awoke ward,for giving him a voice in the comity of other Ward chairmen,as according to him, his ward,Eka-Awoke,gave massive support to chief Nwifuru,assuring that,the people will be adequately rewarded.
   He charge the people of Eka-Awoke to always remain loyal and committed to the APC government. 
Others who spoke,include,the councillor representing Eka-Awoke Ward,Hon.Clifford Igboji,Professor Joseph Afiukwa,Mr Nweke Awoke,Mr Sunday Ogbunte and Mr Ewa Nworie,all thanked the people of Eka-Awoke ward for their solid support to chief Ogbonna Nwifuru and APC government. 
   They urged  the people to remain peaceful adding that the government of chief Nwifuru will make the entire community happy.

EKA-AWOKE COMMUNITY QUALIFIES FOR WORLD BANK ASSISTED PROJECTS

By Ewa Nworie Eka-Awoke community in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state was among the 54 communities qualified for CSDA support under the NG-CARES programme,a world Bank Assisted project.    Members of the CSDA committee from Eka-Awoke,elected to carry out the implementation of their community project,joined colleagues from other communities to receive intensive training on how to handle the projects. The training which took place at Re-maretona hotel Andsuite,Abakaliki,was meant to empower the committees of benefiting communities with the prerequisite knowledge on how to carry out the world Bank Assited projects in their various communities in line with the world Bank approved standard The training which was seen as quite impactful and result oriented,as members of the committees were seen answering questions correctly from the resource persons,kept the committees abreast of what they should know about the management of Agency's fund.

NDUFU IKWO DC COORDINATOR,DR.EJEM CHARGES NEW MGT CTTEE MEMBERS TO WORK HARD
