I am delighted together with my family to congratulate the Governor of Ebonyi State and Senator-elect, Federal Republic of Nigeria *His Excellency, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi FNSE, FNATE CON, GGCEHF* on his landslide victory at the National Assembly polls of 25th February, 2023.
  Your Excellency our dear Governor and mentor,   we thank God Almighty whose faithfulness to you is everlasting. You have worked very hard to lift the face of Ebonyi State and prosper the inhabitants. You have satisfied the calling of your anointing which is to maintain the presence of God in the administration of Ebonyi State through compassionate service delivery that will change the ugly narrative of a hitherto forsaken State.
  Your Excellency, you have so performed that even when men are silent to speak about your good works, stones will stand up in loud praise for the testimony of the developmental wonders witnessed in Ebonyi State under your reign as Governor. Your victory at the polls as Senator-elect is God’s design to honour you through the people of Ebonyi South Senatorial zone for the great and mighty things He has used you to do in Ebonyi State. 
  In the annals of leadership history in Nigeria, you occupy the Olympian height in the Hall of Fame as an extra-ordinary leader of inestimable value. We therefore celebrate your victory and the success story of your administration. May God continue to lift you and honour your aspirations in the Name of our Lord, the Maker of Heaven and Earth.

EKA-AWOKE COMMUNITY QUALIFIES FOR WORLD BANK ASSISTED PROJECTS

By Ewa Nworie Eka-Awoke community in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state was among the 54 communities qualified for CSDA support under the NG-CARES programme,a world Bank Assisted project.    Members of the CSDA committee from Eka-Awoke,elected to carry out the implementation of their community project,joined colleagues from other communities to receive intensive training on how to handle the projects. The training which took place at Re-maretona hotel Andsuite,Abakaliki,was meant to empower the committees of benefiting communities with the prerequisite knowledge on how to carry out the world Bank Assited projects in their various communities in line with the world Bank approved standard The training which was seen as quite impactful and result oriented,as members of the committees were seen answering questions correctly from the resource persons,kept the committees abreast of what they should know about the management of Agency's fund.

The coordinator of Ndufu Ikwo Development centre,Dr Ernest Ndidi Ejem has called on the newly appointed management committee members to work very hard to justify the appointments given to them by governor Ogbonna Nwifuru.  The coordinator gave the charge during his maiden meeting with the management committee members of Ndufu Ikwo Development centre,held at Egunkwo,the headquarters of the development centre.   Addressing the management committee members,the coordinator, Dr.Ejem who took time out to enumerate projects executed by his administration and how he has been piloting the affairs of the Development centre since assumption of office,told the management committee members,that they were appointed basically to assist coordinators in the effective running of development centres to step down governance to the rural people,and urged the management committee members to owe gratitudes to governor Ogbonna Nwifuru who  gave them the opportunity to serve.  The coordinator furth
