THE APC PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN FLAG OFF,RECORDED HUGE SUCCESS IN EBONYI

Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress(APC) presidential candidate on Wednesday the 23rd Nov.2022,arrived Ebonyi state,to flag off his presidential campaign which had earlier kicked off in some other states in Nigeria.
  Also flagged off was the gubernatorial campaign for Ebonyi APC guber candidate,chief Francis OGBONNA NWIFURU.
    Tinubu who arrived Abakaliki,the Ebonyi state capital,on Wednesday,23rd November,2022 at about 7 p.m,Nigerian time with his campaign team was accorded warm reception by the Ebonyi people who earlier received him and his entourage at Akanu Ibiam International airport,Enugu,before proceeding to Ebonyi state.
   His two day campaign visit saw Ahmed Bola Tinubu,commissioning some projects,executed by the host governor,Engr.David Umahi.
   The Projects include,the dualised roads around new government house,centenary city,Abakaliki,which were well decorated with Solar lights,the Bishop Okoro/King David Estate dualized  roads,and the APC ultra modern campaign office,located along water works road,Abakaliki.
    Tinubu had while meeting with the traditional rulers in the state at the Exco chambers,new government house,Abakaliki,confered with a chieftaincy title of IKE DIORA MMA of south east,by the chairman,south east traditional rulers council,His Royal Highness,EZE Charles Mkpuma.
   Flagging off his campaign at PA Ngele Oruta Township stadium,Abakaliki,Ahmed Bola Tinubu,commended governor David Umahi for making Ebonyi state a centre of excellence through the provision of solid  infrastructures and human capital development,stressing that APC government at both the states and national levels has performed well, unlike,the PDP government which,according to him, spent 16 years in power without anything to show for it.
  Tinubu called on the people of Ebonyi state to come out in their great numbers on election days with their voters cards,to vote all APC candidates,starting from the presidential election to other elections,to prove that Ebonyi state is an APC state.
  Bola Tinubu,while assuring the people of Ebonyi state of his readiness to serve,said,if voted into power as the next president of Nigeria,he would make south east an economic hub and fight insecurity to a stand still in the country.
    He also promised to involve Ebonyi state fully  in the scheme of things at the federal level,because of governor David Umahi,whom he described as a topmost and an accomplished leader who have made his mark in the unity and oneness of Nigeria.
   Earlier in his remark,governor David Umahi,who is also,the chairman,south east governors Forum,described senator Bola Tinubu as an accomplished leader who had recorded much success when he was the governor of Lagos State,saying that his emergence as the next president of Nigeria,would in no doubt, bring a total turn around,in the economic fortune of the country. 
  He thanked the people of Ebonyi state for trooping out en mass to demonstrate their full support and solidarity to the APC presidential candidate,Bola Tinubu.
  Governor Umahi,who announced that Ebonyi state has declared, "Operation paste your posters on the structure you built",assured the presidential candidate,Bola Tinubu of Ebonyi people's massive votes as according to him,Ebonyi state remains the home of APC.
   The presidential campaign chairman of the south east,senator Hope Uzodinma while commending Ebonyi people for trooping out en mass,said,senator Bola Tinubu,the APC presidential candidate is the best option to make Nigeria come out from  it's present economic quangmire and insecurity,and called on the people of Ebonyi state to vote massively for Tinubu and other APC candidates,during the 2023 general elections.
     Uzodinma,thanked governor David Umahi for being a great team player in the national politics,saying,he never expected less than what he saw in Ebonyi state.
   He told the intimidating crowd that,the support,Tinubu is enjoying in Ebonyi state is exactly the same at Imo,and other states of the south east.
    There were goodwill messages from the governor of Jigawa state,Mohammed Badaru,governor of Cross River State,Prof.Ben Ayade and governor of Kebbi state,Abubakar Atiku Bagudu,all commending governor David Umahi,for making APC proud in Ebonyi state,through offering quality leadership.
    The highlight was the handing over of APC Flag to chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru,the GUBERNATORAL candidate of Ebonyi state,by the representative of National APC chairman,Abdullahi Adamu.

EKA-AWOKE COMMUNITY QUALIFIES FOR WORLD BANK ASSISTED PROJECTS

By Ewa Nworie Eka-Awoke community in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi state was among the 54 communities qualified for CSDA support under the NG-CARES programme,a world Bank Assisted project.    Members of the CSDA committee from Eka-Awoke,elected to carry out the implementation of their community project,joined colleagues from other communities to receive intensive training on how to handle the projects. The training which took place at Re-maretona hotel Andsuite,Abakaliki,was meant to empower the committees of benefiting communities with the prerequisite knowledge on how to carry out the world Bank Assited projects in their various communities in line with the world Bank approved standard The training which was seen as quite impactful and result oriented,as members of the committees were seen answering questions correctly from the resource persons,kept the committees abreast of what they should know about the management of Agency's fund.

NDUFU IKWO DC COORDINATOR,DR.EJEM CHARGES NEW MGT CTTEE MEMBERS TO WORK HARD
