Suspected Gunmen have killed two member of the Ebebeagu Security Outfit in Ebonyi at Friday night shooting.

SP Chris Anyanwu, Spokesman of Police Command in the state confirmed the incident on Saturday in Abakaliki.

According to Anyanwu, the incident occurred on Friday night and two of the Ebubeagu personnel were shot dead.

“Investigation is on going over the matter and no arrest have been made,” he added.

Mr Monday Opara, resident in the area, told newsmen that the incident happened around around 7pm, Friday night at Ebebe junction, Ebonyi local government Area of the state.

“They were victims but before they could get to the hospital, two died while others with bullet injuries are receiving treatment at Alex Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospital,” Opara stated.
