IKWO COUNCIL BOSS,BARR.NWANKWO AS PEACE BUILDER

EBONYI ASSEMBLY PASSES BILL ON ESTABLISHMENT AND REGULATION OF EBONYI CORRECTIONAL SERVICE

BY Theophilus Igwe The state House of Assembly has passed A Bill for a Law to Establish and Regulate the Ebonyi State Correctional Service, to Ensure Human and Effective Management of Offenders, Promote Reformation, Reintegration, and Public Safety, and to Make Provisions for the Administration of Custodial and Non-custodial Services in the State and for Related Matters111person"   The Speaker therefore, put the motion on voice votes, and it was unanimously accepted. The plenary was however, dissolved to Committee of the whole, for the house members to dot their i's and cross their t's, through a motion that was moved by the Leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Kingsley Ikoro,  and seconded by the Member representing Ohaozara West State Constituency, Hon.
